Spidey Icon Pack Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how App Builder Labs ("we", "our", "us"), the developer of the Android application Spidey Icon Pack (package name com.spidey.iconpack, published on Google Play under the developer name "App Builder Labs"), handles information in connection with the app. Spidey Icon Pack provides launcher icon pack functionality and an optional feature for requesting new icons from within the app.

2. On-Device Processing

To provide icon-pack features, the app may inspect launchable apps installed on your device and check for supported launcher packages. This is used to show compatible apps, launcher setup options, and the app-selection screen for the optional request feature. This processing occurs on your device.

The app may also store limited data in the app's internal local storage, such as a random device identifier and lists of apps you have already submitted through the request flow, to support rate limiting and reduce duplicate submissions.

3. Data We Collect When You Submit a Request

When you explicitly submit an icon request from within the app, we may collect:

Request type (new icon request)
Selected app package names
Selected app labels and icon URI values (if provided by your device)
Current launcher details (label, package name, activity name)
Submission timestamp and which icon pack the request came from
A random device identifier generated by the app

We do not automatically transmit the full list of installed apps on your device to our servers. Only the apps and related details you choose to submit through the request feature are transmitted.

Show icon-pack compatibility features and launcher guidance within the app
Process the icon requests you submit
Prioritize future icon updates
Detect abuse and apply rate limiting to submissions
Improve icon quality and compatibility across launchers

5. Data Sharing & Storage

We do not sell personal data. Request data is transmitted to and stored on our backend infrastructure provider (Supabase) solely to operate the service. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Request records are retained as needed for product improvement, quality analysis, and abuse prevention.

How to request deletion: Email theappbuilder.labs@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion", from the device you submitted from or including your app-generated device identifier. We will delete the records associated with you — the selected app names and labels, launcher details, submission timestamps, and your device identifier — within 30 days of the request. Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you or your device may be retained.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

9. Your Choices

Submitting a request is optional. You may use the app without ever submitting one. For data deletion or other privacy requests, contact us at the email below and include your request details.
